The Archaeology of the Spoon in Anatolia

March 22, 2024, Nadir Gastronomy Platform We gathered on March 22 under the auspices of the Nadir Gastronomy Platform to hear Nur Başnur speak on the topic of we gathered on March 22, hosted by the Nadir Gastronomy Platform, to hear Nur Başnur’s presentation titled “The Archaeology of the Spoon in Anatolia.” In her presentation, which drew on Ms. Nur’s meticulous and detailed research, we witnessed the spoon’s journey from prehistoric times to the early republic, and took a closer look at the spoon’s significance in Anatolia—beyond its role as a kitchen utensil.
At the end of the presentation, our Association President, Esin Sungur, presented Nur Başnur with a certificate of appreciation.
