Mediterranean Flavors: From Meze to Tapas

DATE February 11, 2015 VENUE Raffles Istanbul Zorlu Center Since the day it first opened, Raffles Istanbul has been in the spotlight thanks to its two restaurants: Arola and Rocca. Sergi Arola, a Michelin-starred Catalan chef and one of the pioneers of innovative Spanish cuisine, and Ali Ronay, known for his passion for Anatolian cuisine and his successful interpretations of it, are the heads of these two restaurants. These two esteemed chefs collaborated to prepare the wonderful menu for our gala dinner. Departing from the traditional approach to service and presentation, Arola and Ronay treated us to a veritable “flavor duel” with the small plates they prepared separately.
